£20/ph (2-hour min)

Includes labor, travel, and tools.

Additional costs for materials like compost, mulch, plants, etc, if used.

Example Bed Costing

The price of the fruit & vegetable beds includes the cardboard, organic compost, and mulch. Any edging material, if desired, will cost a little extra. All beds will generate at least their cost back within a few months when comparing harvests to their organic market equivalent (if looked after correctly), and continue to generate abundantly in subsequent years with an annual topping of compost.

1m x 1m – £60
(1 square meter)
Ideal for a kitchen herb garden or a small salad bar, this size can provide 25-50% of the fruit and vegetables needed for a single person's diet.

3m x 3m – £180
(9 square meters)
Perfect for sustaining a single person’s entire fruit and vegetable needs or covering up to 75% of a couple’s requirements.

12m x 3m – £550
(36 square meters)
Designed to fully sustain a family of four, with potential for extra produce to share or store.

The bigger the beds, the cheaper it works out at per bed, as the compost comes in bulk.

Additional Info

I do not provide garden waste removal due to not having a van or commercial disposal license. Any waste generated can be shredded by me onsite and added to a garden waste bin, compost pile, or bagged for removal by you. Branches, leaves, and stones can be repurposed for wildlife-friendly features like dead hedges. Grass clippings are often used as organic mulch for beds or directly on the grass for added nutrients.
